DME Celebrates 20th Year in Business with 500th Equipment Installation

Charlottetown, PE, June 15, 2011 - Diversified Metal Engineering Ltd, (DME), has been a leader in the industry for over 20 years and today is celebrating that anniversary with another milestone, the company's 500^th equipment installation.  

As a world-class manufacturer, DME has supplied turnkey brewery systems, ranging in size from 5 barrel Brewpubs to large scale 120 barrel regional breweries to every corner of the globe. The company has also supplied process engineered systems to the Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, Bio Pharm, Bio Energy, Industrial and Marine industries.

Incorporated in 1991 by company President Peter Toombs, corporate headquarters remain in Charlottetown, PEI where the company employs 60 full time skilled professionals.  The manufacturing facility consists of 30,000 square feet of production area with the latest technology applied throughout engineering, operations and fabrication.

Over the past 20 years, DME has gained a reputation for its high quality products and service and has grown into an international business with customers and equipment installations in locations such as: USA, England, Ireland, Australia, Bermuda, Palestine, China, Japan, Turkey, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Brazil, and across Canada.

This month DME reached another milestone having just completed the sale of what will be the company's 500^th brewing equipment sale and installation.
